Tour de la Region

Yesterday evening after dropping off my host sister Victoria, at the train station my host mother Veronique and I drove some 20km to the Perche valley. This region characterized by its several scattered towns and villages( due to recurring water sources), is in my opinion one of the most charming of France. With rolling green hills and beautiful white horses, it was a breather to take the little tour.

Saint-Cyr- la- Rosière

Sainte-Gauburge
In this minutaire village all the buildings are built in the traditional architecture of the 16th century.
The presbytère (le clos Saint-Sébastine) presents a certain historic and artistic interest.

Musée des Arts et Traditions populaires du Perche
Created in 1972, this museum displays one of the largest collection of cultural activities pertaining to the Perche region. Below are some pictures of the products for sale.
