Easter weekend in Normandie

"Oufff.. I am dying of this heat wave that is affecting all of France at the moment. It is so hard to stand it, I mean my poor chocolate Easter hare has nearly turned into a molten puddle"!
Said no one..happy April fools day everyone.
Okey back to business, here are the pictures of this weekend.
Starting with the World War 1/2 memorial in Caens.
Notice that there seems to be a bit of sunshine? Do not be deceived the morning of there was snow where we live.

Finishing our tour of the memorial in just a little under four hours, it would be an underestimation to say that there is a lot to see.

The following pictures were taken Sunday afternoon after a hearty family lunch.

Other than the car trip there and back and the meals (of course) that wraps it up for my Easter weekend. Do not be afraid to leave a comment on how your recent vacation was and keep an eye out as I will soon be posting pictures of Melissa Benedini's visit in France (she arrives to my little town in less than an two hours!).
